ACTSI Announces New Pediatric Clinical Research Unit at Hughes Spalding

The ACTSI’s pediatric program (CTRPP), Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Grady Health System has equipped, furnished, and provided 387 square feet of dedicated space for clinical and translational research at Hughes Spalding Children’s Hospital, located downtown near Grady Hospital. The Pediatric Clinical Research Unit is designed to provide the necessary infrastructure for investigators conducting pediatric clinical research. The unit is located in the old pharmacy, Hughes Spalding Research Room 21.2010. The unit offers core support facilities and resources in a combined lab space and research office. The ACTSI's Clinical Interaction Network (CIN) program provides support for the conduct of patient-oriented research at multiple sites across Atlanta. If you are an Emory, MSM, or GA Tech clinical investigator and would like to utilize this site through a CIN supported mechanism please follow the protocol submission instructions. For more information on the Pediatric Research Unit please contact, Dr. Beatrice Gee. Thanks to Children's at Hughes Spalding for ongoing support of clinical and translational research in children's health.
