After Hours Processing: Georgia CTSA Clinical Research Centers (GCRCs)

We are pleased to announce a new, limited, after-hours laboratory processing service for GCRCs investigators at Emory University Hospital (EUH). In collaboration with the GCRCs, Emory Medical Laboratories (EML) at EUH will provide basic processing services on a limited basis for biological samples on research inpatients at EUH. Weekends and holidays are excluded and no specialized tubes or equipment will be provided by EML. Appropriate EML fees will be charged to industry sponsored studies. The GCRCs Core Laboratory Director and lab staff will assist study teams with new protocol submissions that require after-hours processing to make the necessary arrangements with EML. Note, this does not include participants registered on the GCRCs Inpatient Unit at EUH. For these studies, the after-hours processing area in the GCRCs Core Lab remains available. If you have any questions about this new service, please contact Dr. Ross Molinaro, GCRCs Core Laboratory Director at rjmolin@emory.edu.
