ACTSI Investigator Dr. Aloke Finn in the News

Aloke Finn, MD is an ACTSI-supported investigator and an assistant professor in the Cardiology Division, Department of Medicine, Emory University. His research combines basic and clinical investigation, focusing on translational research in the area of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, including mechanisms of disease, treatment, and healing after injury. He likes to travel in his spare time, though that is rare because he has two daughters ages 2 and 4.

Finn recently received funding as the PI of a Medtronic clinical trial at Emory University Hospital Midtown using optical frequency domain imaging to study the healing process after stent placement in patients with diabetes. His co-investigators for this trial are Habib Samady, Henry Liberman, Chandan Devireddy, and Anwer Habib.
