We are pleased to announce that ACTSI Investigator Elizabeth Ofili, MD, MPH, FACC, Professor, Director and Senior Associate Dean for Clinical and Translational Research at Morehouse School of Medicine, is a finalist for one of the Women in Technology's Women of the Year Awards. These awards, created in 2000, celebrate female technology executives in Georgia for their accomplishments as leaders in business, visionaries of technology, ground-breakers in business and remarkable leaders who make a difference in our community; it celebrates women who are actively engaged in Georgia’s STEM community with roles in Small, Medium, and Large/Enterprise organizations.
The Award winners will be announced at WIT’s Awards Gala on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Georgia Aquarium - across four categories:
- Large/Enterprise Organizaion: represents companies with more than 2,500 employees
- Medium/Mid-Size Organization: represents Mid-sized/Medium Organizations (251-2,500 employees) and Educational Institutions
- Small/Emerging Organization: represents companies with 250 employees or less
- Non-Profit Organization, representing public/private non-profits
