Trial Innovation Network

The Georgia CTSA offers a local Trial Innovation Network to innovatively address critical roadblocks in clinical research and accelerate the translation of novel interventions into life-saving therapies. The local hub serves as a liaison with the national network and within the Georgia CTSA academic partners – Emory, Morehouse School of Medicine, Georgia Tech, and UGA – through a Navigator Team and Recruitment Innovation Center. The goal of the network is to execute trials better, faster, and more cost-efficiently and to be a national laboratory to study, understand, and innovate the process of conducting clinical trials. It features a single IRB system, master contracting agreements, quality by design approaches, and a focus on evidence-based strategies to recruitment and patient engagement.
