The Institute for Electronics and Nanotechnology (IEN) at Georgia Tech offers the course designed for individuals interested in hands-on training in the fabrication of microfluidic devices using the soft lithography technique. ACTSI-BERD Statistical Clinic for Bio-related Research on the Georgia Tech Campus

Statistics research group directed by ISyE/BME professor Brani Vidakovic, offers free consulting for data-analysis questions in the domain of bio-related initiatives. Every Thursday from 1:00-2:30 pm in Whitaker 2100, the group will provide assistance and statistical advice for external grant applications, model/methodology selection, and publication/PhD thesis work, as well as general data analysis coming from Georgia Tech research labs.

Emory Johns Creek Hospital (EJCH) Offers Free Driver Safety Tests for Seniors-April 29

The American Society on Aging, American Automobile Association, American Association of Retired Persons, and the American Occupational Therapy Association created the educational program called "CarFit." This community-based program assists older drivers to improve the "fit" of their vehicles for safety and comfort. The CarFit program promotes conversations among older adults and families about driving and safety and offers mobility options. Occupational therapists will teach drivers how to properly adjust their seats, steering wheel, and mirrors. Drivers will also learn good foot and head rest positioning and how they can reduce their risk for injury and accidents.

Opportunity to Collaborate with NIH Stem Cell Translation Lab

NIH Common Fund Regenerative Medicine Program¿s Stem Cell Translation Laboratory (SCTL) is seeking collaborators. As part of a collaborative network of scientists, the SCTL is leading multidisciplinary efforts for the scalable expansion, controlled differentiation and translational utilization of iPSCs.
