The NIH Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) program was initiated to enable biomedical research as a digital research enterprise. Help Emory Try to Improve Vaccines for Kids

The Vaccine Clinic at Emory Children's Center is conducting a research study to determine how the immune system responds to varicella (Chickenpox) vaccine. Two different age groups of healthy children are needed: Children 12-15 months of age who have not received VARIVAX previously and Children 4-6 years of age old who have received a single dose of VARIVAX at 12-15 months old. Children who participate in the study will have four-five appointments at Emory Children¿s Center and receive one dose of vaccine. Emory will compensate the parents of each participant $50 for clinic visits and $75 for vaccine visit.

Georgia Tech Computer Science Capstone Project Presentations-April 27

Dr. Mark Braunstein's CS 6340 students will present their Capstone Project presentations to industry mentors, advisors, friends, and family in the extended health IT community.
