Georgia CTSA is pleased to announce new awards funded as Pilot Grant recipients in Round #148. Awards were given to proposals that will generate preliminary data and refine research strategies for subsequent extramural grant applications or develop best approaches and methodologies to address complex translational and clinical research problems. Georgia CTSA Pilot Grants are a catalyst for the transformation of clinical and translational science.

ClinicalTrials.gov Essentials for Academic Medical Centers - July 14-30
Join this FDA and NIH-led virtual training series designed to help academic medical center staff understand federal requirements for ClinicalTrials.gov registration and results reporting. Through on-demand training and live expert panel sessions on July 14, July 22, and July 30, participants will learn about compliance requirements, common reporting pitfalls, Protocol Registration and Results System (PRS) functionality, and best practices for accurate and timely clinical trial reporting. This opportunity is particularly relevant for investigators, research staff, ClinicalTrials.gov administrators, and clinical research offices.

Fall 2026 Clinical and Translational Science Courses Available to Non-Degree Students - Apply by August 14
Emory faculty, postdocs, and PhD students are welcome to enroll in the following fall semester courses via Zoom through the Laney Graduate School: MSCR 515 Scientific Communication for Clinical & Translational Science, MSCR 596 Advanced Data Management in R, and CPTS 500 Fundamentals of Epidemiology. Tuition awards are not available, but faculty and postdocs at Emory may be eligible for the Emory Courtesy Scholarship if employed for at least one year.
