Georgia CTSA KL2 Scholar and Research Team Identify Crucial Biomarker That Tracks Recovery from Treatment-Resistant DepressionA team of leading clinicians, engineers, and neuroscientists has made a groundbreaking discovery in the field of treatment-resistant depression published online in Nature. First author Georgia CTSA KL2 Scholar Sankaraleengam (Sankar) Alagapan, PhD, Research Scientist II, Georgia Tech ECE, collaborated with researchers at Emory SOM and Icahn Mount Sinai to use AI to detect shift in brain activity that coincided with patients’ recovery using DBS.

Thomas O’Neill, PhD, University of Calgary, will host session on how to manage conflict productively. A free evidence-based personalized conflict styles report will be available to each attendee after taking a 5-minute assessment. The bestowed accolade is granted to a CHW, CHW Advocate, or an entity that makes substantial contributions to the comprehensive advancement, progress, and welfare of the CHW labor force in the state of Georgia.

Effective October 1, 2023, the new fee schedule, including a slight price increase, will be implemented for locations at Emory University Hospital, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Emory Johns Creek, Emory St. Joseph’s and Grady Memorial Hospital. We offer a range of services from Outpatient clinical care to Bionutrition & Exercise Physiology, Study Coordinator Support, and Laboratory Processing. By delivering pay-as-you-go services, GCRCs aim to minimize the cost of conducting studies.
