Dr. Yao works on chromosomal segregation during cell division and what goes wrong during tumorigenesis. With new agent development support from the ACTSI and co-funding from the MSM RCMI G20 grant, Dr. Yao, along with his collaborative team at Emory and MSM, have identified new microtuble and signal transduction pathways as drug targets.
