Dr. Wenger is Professor Emeritus in the Cardiology Division based at Grady. She also serves as Consultant to the Emory Heart and Vascular Center. She recently received funding from a nonprofit foundation to develop a smartphone app for women with recently diagnosed diabetes to help them ascertain their coronary risk factors, their goals for each of the risk factors, and their progress toward attaining these goals. She received the 2012 Charles Hatcher Jr. MD Award for Excellence in Public Health and was named a master of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (MAACVPR). In 2013 she received the American College of Cardiology's inaugural Distinguished Mentor Award. Read more.
