Dean P. Jones, PhD

Dr. Jones is an ACTSI investigator and professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at Emory School of Medicine. He directs the Emory Clinical Biomarkers Laboratory, which is focused on oxidative stress biomarkers and applications of 1H-NMR spectroscopy and Fourier-transform mass spectrometry for high-throughput clinical metabolomic analyses of nutritional and environmental factors in human health and disease. Dr. Jones is principal investigator on a NIH R01 grant entitled, “Cytoplasmic-nuclear redox signaling: Disruption by dietary cadmium levels.”
