Thompson-Reuters identified more than 3,000 researchers worldwide who wrote the greatest numbers of highly cited papers over the past decade. These researchers ranked in the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, "earning them the mark of exceptional impact," says the site. Hunter was among the 3,000 investigators. He also scored at or above the 90% on Press Ganey patient satisfaction surveys in every quarter of FY14. Each physician received more than 30 surveys per quarter.
