ACTSI KL2 Program & K12- BIRCWH KL2 & K12 Application Grant Writing Workshop- November 29 & December 6
This grant writing tutorial is designed to provide in-depth instruction for those preparing institutional K grants (career development awards for junior faculty interested in research careers) including: 1) ACTSI KL2 Mentored Clinical and Translational Research Scholars award (open to junior faculty at any of the ACTSI partner institutions – Emory, Morehouse School of Medicine, Georgia Tech, and University of Georgia College of Pharmacy who are committed to careers in clinical and/or translational research); and 2) K12-Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) (open only to Emory junior faculty whose research is focused on women’s health issues). Participants will receive access to examples of successful KL2 and K12 applications and hands-on guidance for completing the various application sections, including the new NIH biosketch format. This free, no credit series is open to all individuals who are eligible to apply for these awards.
