Find out via the I-Corps@NCATS Regional Short Course. Based on the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) program, the premiere federally-funded innovation and commercialization training in the U.S., I-Corps@NCATS provides biomedical scientists, clinician scientists and engineers with a new approach to accelerate the translation of discoveries from the lab to clinical practice.

WHO: Teams of faculty, postdocs, and/or students with biomedical innovations or ideas

WHAT: The five-week I-Corps@NCATS Regional Short Course will help you connect with potential customers for your research project, protocol, service, or prototype.

WHEN/WHERE: July 9 (kickoff) – August 6 (finale); The University of Alabama, Birmingham; Intervening weeks via remote platform

WHY: Determine the commercial viability of your innovation. Develop a successful business case for securing funding. Expand your network of innovation partners, mentors, and potential collaborators. Develop a new way of thinking about your research.

COST: Registration is free. However, team must support travel to Birmingham, AL for the kickoff and finale days.
