Georgia CTSA Leaders Receive Nearly $20M NIH Grant as Part of Long COVID Nationwide Study
Former KL2 scholars and current Georgia CTSA Research Education Program members, Dr. Igho Ofotokun and Dr. Rachel Patzer, along with Georgia CTSA Clinical Research Centers Co-Director, Dr. Priscilla Pemu, received a nearly $20M NIH grant as principal investigators of the Atlanta hub for RECOVER, a nationwide effort to study Long COVID effects. Georgia CTSA Community Engagement Director, Dr. Tabia Akintobi, is leading a community engagement team.
