Pilot Project by Georgia CTSA Leader and Collaborators Receives FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for PTSD Treatment

A study led by Georgia CTSA Community Engagement leader Omer Inan, co-PI, Georgia Tech, and Douglas Bremner, PI, Emory, opens the door to a hopeful new PTSD treatment. “Georgia CTSA celebrates this ecosystem that allows for strong collaboration. On this project, we have many team members: public health, cardiology, psychiatry, radiology, bioengineering, and electrical and computer engineering. It’s team science that made this work,” remarks Dr. Inan.
