"The Georgia All-Payer Claims Database (APCD) represents a tremendous new resource for advancing health in Georgia. We look forward to working with Georgia CTSA researchers to address topics such as health outcomes, cost, quality, and access to care," says Jon Duke MD, MS, Georgia CTSA Co-Director Informatics and Health Analytics, Georgia Tech Research Institute. APCD is a collection of healthcare claims data for public & private insurance plans.

The APCD is a collection of over 900 million healthcare claims from both public and private insurance plans in Georgia. The goal for the APCD is to serve as a central source of healthcare information to support evidence-based improvements in access, quality, and cost of healthcare.

In addition to public data releases, the APCD recently launched the application process for access to non-public data by researchers for projects aligned with advancing health and healthcare in Georgia.

For those interested in exploring the data available, see the APCD Snapshot and Condition Explorer dashboards.
