Morehouse School of Medicine Receives Historic $175 Million Donation from Bloomberg Philanthropies
Morehouse School of Medicine announced a $175 million donation to its endowment from Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Greenwood Initiative. The donation is part of a combined $600 million investment in the nation’s four historically Black medical schools. According to Bloomberg Philanthropies, the funding will fuel the institutions’ commitments to diversifying the medical field by training the next generation of Black doctors.
