Georgia CTSA Pilot Grant Recipient Receives $1.8M NIH R01 for Concussion Research
"Our Georgia CTSA Pilot Grant captured preliminary data that formed the base for our NIH R01. Our work will better define when driving performance returns to normal after concussion and identify clinical outcomes that correlate to driving performance in a larger sample. This effort will help clinicians provide recommendations that balance driving safety with the need to return as soon as safely possible," says Julianne Schmidt, PhD, UGA.
