Congratulations to Georgia CTSA TL1 Trainee Sydni Williams, Emory, selected as ElevateMeD Scholar. The application pool featured over 80 nominees from 27 partnering medical schools. Williams will receive a $10,000 scholarship, mentorship, leadership development, financial wellness, and peer network. The program is designed to develop the next generation of physician leaders from African-American/Black, Latinx, and Native American backgrounds.
