Georgia CTSA Investigator Co-PI on ARPA-H Initiative for Innovative AI Research in Cancer Surgery

Emory and Winship Cancer Institute have secured up to $17.6 million from ARPA-H to advance an innovative technology that could reshape surgical treatment for cancer patients. Co-PI of the award is Dr. Anant Madabushi who is currently serving as a mentor to Georgia CTSA MSCR student Kartik Reddy, MD, Emory. Known as “MarginCall,” the project aims to change the way surgical margins are evaluated, beginning with breast and ovarian cancer.
