NIH RCMI: Impact Through Scientific Excellence, Investigator Development, and Community Engagement
In a new study in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, lead author Elizabeth Ofili, MD, MPH, Georgia CTSA PI, MSM, evaluated the impact of the NIH Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI) Program. The findings confirm significant national and public health impact and ROI, demonstrated through competitive R01 awards, high-impact publications, innovative mentorship, and community and public health impacts.
