Georgia CTSA Investigator Receives Genomic Press Award for Development of Fabla App
Congratulations to Deanna Kaplan, PhD, Emory, who received a Genomic Press 2025 Rising Star award for the development of the Fabla app. This competitive, international award is presented to only a few scientists each year. Dr. Kaplan built Fabla in partnership with Santiago Arconada Alvarez and the Georgia CTSA AppHatchery team. Fabla is a voice app for participants to securely record and send real-time spoken answers to researchers’ questions.
